Ultimate Kids Tank Driving
An action packed tank adventure that's sure to leave even the most demanding kid amazed - just watch their face during the car crush! Ages 11 to 16
Everything from self propelled guns, Humvee's, troop carriers and even 007 style snow bikes are involved in this half day event. With an opportunity to ride or actually drive the kit under the watchful eye of expert instructors the event also includes a tour of the armoury to check out machine guns and mortars and trip round the workshops to see tanks undergoing restoration. A 55 ton Chieftain battle tank then crushes a car to round off the day!
Agenda - Ultimate Kids Tank Driving
On arrival the children will be spilt into groups and rotated around the different activities. The itinerary will include driving an Abbott self propelled gun, driving a 432 armoured personnel carrier, passenger rides in a Hauggland twin pod tracked carrier, passenger rides on the back off Norwegian army snowmobiles, tour of the armoury and tank shed. Also included is the chance to watch the grand finale as the best young driver of the day gets to crush a family car in the mighty Cheiftan.
Ultimate Kids Tank Driving Notes
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. This event is suitable for anyone over the age of 11 and under the age of 17. Some of the driving requires a minimum height of 5' and a degree of physical strength. At the discretion of the instructors some children may be unable to drive vehicles for safety reasons in which case they will have a thrilling passenger ride instead. A parent or guardian is required at a ratio of one for every two children unless by special arrangement. Children should be supervised when not participating in the activities. Spectators are welcome - don't forget your camera!
