Want to be the next Pop Idol? People complain about your singing in the bath? This is the experience for you! Under the expert guidance of a music professional, and in the security of small groups, you will first learn the basics and then move on to more demanding singing techniques. Your tutor has a wealth of experience as a solo singer and as a backing singer for the likes of The Temptations and The Four Tops so you can be sure you are in good hands in this full day experience.
Agenda - Singing Workshops
On arrival, meet the rest of your group and the tutor before covering the following key areas: Singing basics - Posture, breathing and tone * Discovering resonance * Diction * Performance techniques * Microphone technique * Vocal Harmony. You'll receive practical fact sheets and a CD of musical exercises to take home to help you develop your singing. The whole experience lasts around six hours.
Singing Workshops Notes
On purchasing this experience you will be sent a voucher valid for ten months. The experience is suitable for anyone over the age of 16. There will be up to 12 people taking part in the experience with you. No experience is necessary. The experience lasts from 10am until 5pm with a break for lunch (not included).
