Steeped in histroy, the majestic Swinton Park in the Yorkshire Dales makes an awe inspiring location for this one day cookery course. Under the expert instruction of Rosemary Shrager the school, set in the converted Georgian stable wing and overlooking parkland and the castle, has been voted in the top ten of UK cookery schools. Courses run on various dates and each follows a distinct theme containing a mixture of demonstrations and hands on cooking. The course also includes a fabulous lunch.
Agenda - One Day Swinton Park Cookery Class
Your experience starts at 9.30am with an introduction from Rosemary and an explanation of the days objectives. Then begins a mixture of demonstrations and hands on activity both individually and in small groups using the kitchens superb equipment. At 2.30pm a three course gourmet lunch with wine is served where the group sits down with Rosemary to discuss what they have learned. Expect to depart at 4.30pm.

On purchasing this experience you will be sent a voucher valid for ten months. This experience is suitable for beginners but is designed with the more adventurous cook in mind. The course is suitable for anyone over the age of 18. There will be a maximum of fourteen people in each group. The course runs on selected dates throughout the year and each date has a different, but equally interesting theme. You are advised to book your voucher as early as possible as availability on some courses may be limited. Accommodation may be available at the hotel and can be requested on booking your course. This is offered subject to availability and will incur a supplement payable directly. Examples of course themes include: The Food of Love, Bread, Sauces, Desserts, Poultry, Fish and Seafood, Summer Food, Game and Festive Fare. Courses are subject to change without notice.
