Moviemaking Experience
Lights, Camera, Action! Make a movie in a day.
Experience the rush and excitement of film production as you work against the clock to direct, shoot and edit a short comedy within a day. A practical, intensive and enjoyable introduction to narrative filmmaking. We'll supply guidance, a script, cameras editing equipment and professional actors - it's then up to you to work with your team and do the rest. You'll be sent a copy of the finished masterpiece to show your friends at your own home premiere (red carpet not included).
Agenda - Moviemaking Experience
After coffee served at the cinema, learn about the basic principles of filmmaking. You will be supplied with a script, cameras, editing equipment, guidance and with professional actors, production begins. After lunch, shoot 'cutaways' and collect sound effects before editing and post production begins. Once all the scenes are completed, take your seats to watch the premiere. The day starts at 8.45am and finishes around 7.30pm. Lunch and refreshments are included.
Moviemaking Experience Notes
On purchase of this experience you will be sent a personalised gift certificate with ten months validity. No previous experience necessary. Groups of friends, colleagues or families can all work on a project. Participant should be 16 or over, under 18's must be accompanied by a paying adult. This course is usually taught on a Saturday by working professionals who are experts in their field.
