Used for Touring Cars and Superbike races, Thruxton is the UK's fastest race circuit and the Elise is the ideal car to make the most of it. Spending all your time in the Lotus, the instructor has plenty of time to improve your driving technique and your confidence. The Elise is a user friendly car so you can slide it round the track without feeling nervous. You are sure to notice a big difference between your first lap and your last.
Agenda - Lotus Elise at Thruxton
After a 30 minute safety briefing where you will be talked through the car's capabilities and the racing lines on the track, it's into the passenger seat for three demonstration laps driven by your instructor. Then you take the wheel for seven laps. After a break, it's back behind the wheel for a further seven laps followed by one final instructor driven lap to show you how it's done. The experience lasts for two hours.

On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity. Approximate time on the track is one hour and five minutes, shared with one other pupil. All participants must have a full valid UK driving license which must be presented on the day. Courses available on weekdays only. You'll be spending a lot of time outside so wear appropriate clothing but when driving you must wear long trousers, long sleeved top and thin soled narrow shoes as the pedals in racing cars are very close together. Minimum height 5' 2' Maximum height 6' 4'.
