What child at some point hasn't run around a school playground making pretend machine gun noises? Make their dream come true and watch their faces light up as they are kitted up in combats and helmets and handed a machine gun! Don't worry, it's really a laser but it weighs the same and the Army use it for training. Search and destroy missions are just part of this event which also includes grenade and mortar firing ranges. An action packed event for action packed kids!
Agenda - Junior SAS
Under the watchful eye of ex-forces instructors participants will be issued with full army kit and helmets. Then, using the latest 'Virtual Soldier' equipment, groups will learn search and destroy techniques in the woods and also participate in a grenade and mortar range involving accuracy and team work to fire at specific targets. After training, groups will prepare for a passing out parade in front of parents where they will be presented with their enlistment certificate.
Junior SAS Notes
On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated voucher valid for ten months. This event is for participants aged between 11 and 16. A degree of physical activity is involved and participants should be of average fitness. The activity runs from either 9.30am until 12.30pm or 2pm until 5pm. Events will take place on at least two Saturdays during the school Summer holidays - please book early to secure your preferred date. No 'live' firing is involved in this event and all activities are closely supervised.
