Ride 'em in Rawhide with a day on the range
Slip on the stetson and saddle up for a day on horseback like no other. The cowboy (or girl) theme runs strong through the day with paint coloured horses in full western gear to the lunchtime BBQ among the giant Redwoods at lunchtime. Sure to fulfil any childhood dream to re enact the great Westerns, this is also a perfect day for exploring the delights of the New Forest on horseback.
Agenda - Dude Day Trail
On arrival you will have a cowboy breakfast and then be kitted out in your stetson and shown to your steed. You will receive a safety briefing round the campfire before mounting the horses and heading off into the wild blue yonder. The morning is spent riding through the stunning sceneary of the New Forest before a break for a BBQ lunch in a forest glade. Then it's time to saddle up again for the return journey and hot coffee and doughnuts await your return to the ranch.
Dude Day Trail Notes
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months. Minimum age is 12. You must be at least 5' tall and weigh no more than 15 stone to take part. No previous riding experience is necessary. Vegetarians can be catered for but should specify when booking. These rides are not suitable for pregnant riders and a medical certificate may be required in the case of disability. Rides generally proceed at a slow pace that is dictated by the experience of the particpants allowing time for you to appreciate the magnificent views. Group sizes range from 12 to 15. In winter, the BBQ is substistuted for stew.
