Basic Hawk Handling Course
The ideal introduction to the handling of these Birds of Prey. (ages 10+) (Warwickshire)
Your course will begin with a brief outline of the sports history, the laws relating to Birds Of Prey and the different types of Raptors, (with their advantages and disadvantages). You will learn the fitting and use of basic equipment, the security of the Hawk and practice the early stages of training to the point of flying free. This course is suitable for the would be Falconer or for those simply wanting hands on contact with Birds of Prey. Handling Owls can be specifically requested.

This is a half day course and starts at 10:30 am. Minimum age 10 years old.
